STORY BEHIND THE SHOT
Photographing the approaching storms attracts me very much even if, working with a carbon tripod, it does not make me so comfortable. I was near Tarifa, in the southernmost point of Andalusia, where the Mediterranean meets the Atlantic in the Gulf of Gibraltar, when a threatening storm was approaching. I chose a very simple scenario: the sea, the horizon and the clouds. What under normal weather conditions would have turned into a probably soulless shot, thanks to the stormy clouds on the horizon it has turned into a poignant landscape.
