STORY BEHIND THE SHOT
The gondola, the long black boat that moves sinuously in the canals of Venice, is one of the oldest symbols of the city and is famous all over the world. A long exposure allowed me to have the gondolas in the foreground moved by the waves in the stillness of the island of San Giorgio in the background, enveloped by the pastel colors of dawn and a light mist over the lagoon.
